Financial Support Fund Appeal

£10,496 has been raised from 84 donors.

Please support our appeal today and help more students facing financial crisis

A growing number of students are facing the impossible choice between their studies and financial survival. They’re having to choose between attending lectures or working to make ends meet. Between paying for a bus into campus or buying a hot meal.

The amount of Bath students requesting an emergency grant has doubled, with requests climbing to over 450 a year.

Whilst the Alumni Fund currently supports the Student Financial Support Fund with a grant of £10,000 per year we need to do more to meet the increasing need.

Please help raise an additional £20,000 by 09/05/25 so we can offer more emergency grants to students facing financial hardship.

These grants really are a lifeline. They might be relatively small amounts, around £2,000, but they have a huge impact: helping students get to the end of term instead of dropping out, easing the mental strain of deciding whether they can put the heating on or travel to a placement.

With your help, we can support more students when they need it most, so they can pursue the brighter future that an education at Bath can offer. Thank you.
