Help shape the future of student rowing at the University of Bath

The Bath University Boat Club (BUBC) and Minerva Bath Rowing Club (MBRC) project team have ambitious plans to build a state-of-the-art facility for our thriving rowing community.

Stage one of this exciting and important project will see the building of a new boat shed to expand boat and equipment storage. Several years in the making and with many obstacles to overcome, the planned facilities will not only allow improved storage for existing boats and much needed space for new ones but also future-proof the facilities for new members to come.

It was here that my Olympic dream started. To those of you in the University Boat Club, make sure you enjoy what you do because it's the best sports club by far and also where you'll forge friendships that last forever.

(Heather Stanning, Rio Olympics Gold Medal Winner)

A donation today will help give a new lease of life to the BUBC now and for future generations of rowers.

The new boat shed will be built by MBRC, with funds contributed by BUBC and in exchange, MBRC will lease the space at a peppercorn rate for a minimum term of 20 years.

We must raise £100,000 for these exciting plans to come to fruition.

Thanks to the very generous individual contributions that have kick-started the fundraising campaign, we're well on the way.

With your help we can reach our target.

Bath University Boat Club has had a lasting effect on my life, and I am supporting this project as best I can to ensure generations of students to come can benefit from all BUBC has to give.
