Each year,  Alumni Fund awards are made to a variety of academic and research projects.

These awards can have a pivotal role in helping research projects get started and secure the initial results they need, often enabling them to later secure more funding.

Some of the projects that recently received support include:

• £5,000 to circular-technology company Lab Cycle developed by Bath PhD student Dr Helen Liang
• £5,000 to Bath PhD student Leen Jabban for her research on sensory feedback systems in prostheses
