Bath University Boat Club (BUBC) is one of the university’s most ambitious and fast-growing sports clubs. Every year, over 100 dedicated student athletes commit themselves to early mornings, demanding training, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, representing the University of Bath at local, national and international events.

Rowing at Bath is more than a sport. It builds resilience, discipline, leadership and lifelong friendships. But achieving success, on and off the water, requires resources that go far beyond what student membership fees can cover. That’s where you come in.

BUBC is proud to run one of the largest and most successful novice rowing programmes in the UK. Funding helps us keep rowing accessible to every student, regardless of their background or experience.

Rowing boats, blades, coaching launches and indoor training equipment require constant maintenance and periodic replacement. These costs add up quickly, and your support ensures that we can remain inclusive and competitive.
